The Flight Register Products

If you want to control, analyse and exploit your passenger and other airline data, then The Flight Register can provide a solution.

Integrating, processing and making available, airline data

Our core products are (i) the integration of different airline data formats, held in different databases, into a single decision support database and, (ii) making the clean data available to any authorised member of staff, in any airline department.

Reports, Queries and Analytics

We provide web based screens which can (i) deliver standard Flight Register Reports; (ii) use a powerful Open Query Tool to run queries by passenger or by groups of passenger; (iii) run third party software such as Business Objects or Hyperion, to 'slice and dice' data.

KPI Dashboards

You can use the database for one department only, or across the entire airline. You can specify for your department, or the entire airline, what are your 'Key Performance Indicators' and we provide 'Dashboards' (screens on your p.c.) giving you up to date performance figures.

Real Time

You can elect to input information every 24 hours or alternatively provide live feeds for 'mission critical' uses.

No capital costs and no risk

Airlines incur no up-front costs for servers or database licences, The Flight Register provides all of these for you for a monthly fee, payable only when the service is operational and tested. No commitment and no risk.

No IT commitment

Your IT department, which will already be extremely busy, will not need to assist in the set up of the service, except to direct the data-streams to us.

Cost

The cost will be highly competitive. For guide prices, and further details, please visit the Members Area by logging in or click here if you are already logged in.

The Flight Register

Our expertise is in Airline Data Warehouses, Decision Support Databases, PNR Databases, Legacy System Integration and APIS. The Flight Register specialises in designing, building, and hosting airline databases.

We are IATA Strategic Partners and AACO Industry Partners.

We are currently installing three airline data warehouses in Europe, the UK and the Middle East. In the UK British Midland are integrating several databases and use the system across 14 departments.

When the very high level of 'look-to-book flight enquiries produced by the Internet caused concerns for a major GDS, The Flight Register designed a data warehouse cache capable of handling 10,000 enquiries per second.

Our sister organisation, TravelTradex, in the tour operator sector, built a data warehouse which receives data streams in multiple formats from 30 tour operators, converts these to CSV, and exports them to legacy travel agents desk tops. The available holidays are presented in a user-friendly web-based format on agents desk-tops, but the booking is made by drilling down to the final page of the legacy booking system. 10 million files are received by The Flight Register daily.

The Flight Register's headquarters are based in the UK, and works with partners worldwide. It has an associated office in Benelux, with 55 IT staff, which provides IT services to major companies, using twin data centres and offering Tier 6 Advanced Continuity.
